An Easter Message From The Headteacher – 3rd April 2020
Hello everyone!
We have missed you over the past couple of weeks. It seems strange that we are about to start the Easter holidays without our usual end of term assemblies and events. Thank you and well done to all the children who have been able to share their activities with us. I have been so delighted to hear about all the amazing work you have been doing at home and about all the wonderful pictures you have been sending in to school.
When times are different, it is important to remember what drives us as a school and what are our values.
At Kingsway we believe in:
Kindness – I know have all been kind to each other at home and kind to everyone else by staying safe and staying at home when you can.
Perseverance – you have shown great perseverance in the last two weeks – trying hard to complete work on your own, staying positive and helping around the house.
Success – by staying inside you are all doing your bit to help and keep everyone safe and together we will successfully overcome this challenge.
All of the school staff: teachers, office, site team and teaching partners have being working together to keep in touch with families and make sure you have some enjoyable and fun activities to do – don’t worry if you can’t do them all or if you get stuck. Let your teacher know through class dojo and we’ll help.
At this time, it is perfectly natural to have a few worries and questions. If there is anything on your mind, or anything you want to ask, talk with people at home or contact us via dojo. We are all missing you and can’t wait to be back in the usual routine.
It has been a busy week for Mr Pajak and Mrs Smith. We are thinking about you all the time and miss seeing your happy faces in school. Remember to stay safe and have a lovely weekend.
I shall send a video message next week.
Have a lovely weekend ?
Mr Pajak
